Watch the Colors Burn

A rainbow arches over
Clouds reflect the colors
The sun is a ball of fire
Creeping beyond the horizon.

Rain is blue and grey
Falling through the air
Reflecting off the sky
Fractals of color shine.

Painted over paper
Stroked with careless abandon
Splashing across white background
A picture begins to form

A flame dances brightly
Defying anyone's will
Leaping to the paper
And we watch the colors burn
